{ Expect the... Dead Knocking on Your Door }

Fist poised, fingers trembling, the pounding of her heart beating in her ears until she could hear nothing else. Sweat beaded on her forehead and simply evaporated with a sizzle. Her skin, hotter than a skillet, simply didn't retain any moisture. A thick gulp strained her throat and suddenly, her hand dropped back to her side. What if he didn't want her back? What if he just kicked her out? What if he didn't l o v e her anymore? How would she even explain the child? But she couldn't just back out. Not with Clever trembling and incoherently speaking behind her; not with the TARDIS less than a foot in front of her; not with the Doctor just beyond those doors. She made it this far, yet she knew the hardest part was still to come. Finding the Doctor, a feat in of itself, caused her a world of pain and a mountain of stress. Soon it would stop. Soon, perhaps, life might shift to normalcy. The beginning of the end. Oh, who was she kidding? Normal wasn't a part of her vocabulary. So, Gwen steeled herself. Built up those brick walls, destroyed all the negative thoughts, and closed off everything but her heart. Who's to say what his reaction may be? Not even she knew. Without hesitation, Gwen lifted her heavy hand and pushed open the door glad to see the TARDIS, which the Doctor always locked, opened to her touch, almost like she missed the young girl. Gwen received a full answer an instant later as the sentient ship nudged her mind with happy melancholy. The atmosphere itself shifted, the lights in the ship brightening. A smile tugged the corners of Gwen's lips up. Home ......but not quite yet. There he stood. A silhouette against the light of the console. One step and the door swung shut. Another step and Gwen offered him a small smile, not sure of what to say and carefully gauging his reaction. Approaching the beast; advancing toward her friend; reasoning without words; nearing the one who changed her world.

Character in general:

I love the Doctor! Whether it’s a Dark!Doctor, Regular!Doctor, or even Mr. Clever, I love the Doctor. I cosplayed as eleven for two years in a row. If that’s not love, then I don’t know what is.

How they play them:

FAN–FUCKING–TASTICALLY. I love how we not only get to see his darker “I’m gonna kill you” and the classic “Fuck you all I hate you,” but she also shows his loving side for Gwen and I LOVE SEEING DARKER CHARACTERS’ SOFT SIDE BECAUSE IT MAKES ME THINK OF AN ANGRY MAMA/PAPA LION ROARING ONE MINUTE, BUT GOD FORBID YOU TOUCH HIS/HER BABIES.

If you’re not following drenchedinxblood, I think you really need to reevaluate your life choices. Doctor Who fan or not, Cal and Doccy are seriously worth following. She’s great and a great person to talk to.

Opinion on;

Character in general: So my knowledge on Eleven is a little limited, because I'm not completely caught up with Doctor Who. However, Eleven was the first Doctor I ever saw so no matter what he'll always hold a special place in my heart. How they play them: I love your take on Eleven. He's darker yes, and I think that's what I love the most about your portrayal. Also, you write so well and I love seeing your threads on my dash.The Mun: I haven't had a chance to talk to you ooc yet but you seem really kind and sweet.
