capricorn - demigod!5sos (i just did another demigod!luke one that you can read here) (and also imagine this is like camp half-blood-esque)

luke was the apple of everyone’s eye, girls and boys alike. girls wanted to be with him, boys wanted to be like him - he was smart, smooth, and skillful at just about everything. he’d come back from quests in record time, he was just generally well liked, and he’d own at capture the flag, being the son of athena. so when you were put onto his team that evening, you were equally excited and scared, not wanting to let luke down. he’d partner up with the son of ares and start directing people on what to do and where to go. you were put on defense, which luke headed up, and the pressure was on as you heard a commotion in the surrounding area. a monster would burst from the trees and you’d be on your feet immediately, fighting it off with your other teammates. luke would join in, shouting directions to get the beast away while still keeping guard of the flag. eventually, it fell to the ground, dead, with your flag untouched, and as you congratulated luke on killing the monster, he’d just smile back, wondering how he had the courage to kill a beast but not have enough courage to talk to you, the beautiful, smart, and quiet girl he’d been eyeing since the first day

blurb: luke would be such a supportive boyfriend oh man he’d try to be at all of your meets and if you were disappointed by your times and you went to the pool really early to practice when he was at home he’d insist on going with you even though you insisted it’d be boring and he’d always congratulate you and clap extra loud for you and one day he was just in athletic shorts and a t-shirt and he came to the side of the pool to talk to you and you asked him to grab your hand to help you out of the pool and he obliviously grabbed your hands and you pulled him into the water and he came out of the water just saying “you’re the worst, laney” even though the massive smile on his face told you otherwise
