If it won't damage your floor, give them an ice cube to play with...mine go cuckoo bananas over chasing ice and patting the puddles. * fair warning...don't slip on said puddles.* :D

They don’t seem to know what to do with them yet. I gave them a big bowl of water with ice cubes in it on an especially hot afternoon, and they just sniffed it and looked anxious until I took the ice cubes out.

I drop ice cubes on the floor once in a while in the kitchen, and Polk pokes at it with her paw and then shakes her paw off, but doesn’t do much else. I think I’ll try putting one in the living room, where there’s more room and less food crumbs, and see what they do.

That’s the funny thing, they don’t even drink it -- they just investigate, and occasionally snort water if they shove their face too far in without thinking about it. :D

I honestly do wonder. :D They’re quite intent about inspecting the shower before I get in it every morning and then monitoring me while I’m in it.

Hey Wil, I figured I should pass this on - that video from Washburn High with the two kids fighting in the hall is staged. He did not try to pull her hijab off and doesn't deserve to have the internet going for him. The two kids in that video are actually friends and sparring partners, which is why their play fight looks pretty intense, but it IS just them playing.

You are really passionate about that cold-hate, dang! I can't say I'm on board with you there - after 15 years in Arizona, I never, ever want to go back to that again. And this coming from one with Reynaud's Syndrome, I mean, literally, my extremities overreact to cold in ways that are potentially dangerous, but in cold weather I can wear a binder and not worry about heat stroke, so admittedly I'm a tad biased there. I think the real solution is no one should go outside, ever!

hahaha yeah I was kind of letting myself go over the top for comedic value but yeah. I hate the saying “You can always get warm” because, well it’s not true XD. I can see how being able to wear a binder is a plus. Outside is way overrated XP

“But it could be.” Dixon’s smile is as disarming as it is cheeky, his elbows scraping against stone as he leans across the bar and crosses his arms. “I’m telling you, there’s a market in that golden frapp shit. Actual gold leaf or just holographic flavouring? Who knows.”“I would know.” Lukas says, stretching his legs out and leaning back against the stone. He looks nothing like his brother sometimes and now is one of them, Markus broad shouldered and emotionally pained next to him. They’re both brown haired and green eyed but the similarity is more in the way Lukas cocks his head to the side when he’s listening and Markus does the same but in the other direction. “No, you wouldn’t.” Dixon counters, wrinkling his nose. He blinks one set of eyes and then the other set, deliberately keeping them out of sync to piss off Lukas, who gets creeped out every goddamn time. “Are you going to buy a drink or what?” The bored starbucks employee asks, the calming waterfall behind them flickering and changing to a starscape as Markus looks over the menu.“.....Unicorn Frap, please.”

Prompt: "Who is going to pay for this mess?"

Really, it isn’t their fault. There’s gerblins and kobolds and a whole lot of mess and a fuckin’ dragon, which Tyr is pretty sure is NOBODYS FAULT EVER because who ever makes a dragon a priority to throw into a tavern? Nobody, that’s who. Only the second they walk in there’s a dragon in the tavern. He ducks as a tail goes sweeping over his head, green and black scales glittering in the light of what’s left of the far wall. It’s on fire. Everything’s on fire. Today sucks.

There’s a barrage of words off to his right, Camilia holding her hand aloft, beard blowing in the wind from the downdraft of stubbly little wings. She’s swearing in something, maybe dwarven but probably infernal as fire leaps from her fingers and arcs towards the dragon, splashing against it’s face. Harmlessly. There’s more screaming, but Tyr’s pretty sure a little bit of that is him. “I am so not paying for this!” He shouts, stumbling back and unhooking the lute from the carrycase on his back, voice bubbling up even as the words catch in his throat. An arrow nicks his cheek and goes straight into the dragon’s eye, the scream so loud it almost breaks the remnants of the ceiling, a stone pillar arcing up and out, holding up what remains of the roof. Urltyrr and Varys, the former with his bow and the latter his staff stand in the doorway, the fire creeping up to their shoes and extinguishing just as quickly with a quick whisper. “FRIEND TYR. I SUGGEST YOU DUCK.” Tyr doesn’t think, just drops and covers himself as Burr, massive, half orc and all armour and sword goes barelling past him and straight into the dragon’s distracted face, an arc of light and pure holy power smashing against scales and sending the creature skidding back, rolling until it comes to a stop. “Why do you always leave nothing for me?” Ham asks, stepping delicately in her full plate armour over a smouldering chair as the dragon wriggles it’s way back up, the stubby wings fluttering helplessly. She’s grace and beauty and sensibly tied up hair as she whirls around, her two handed sword coming down so fast it’s barely a second between when he sees it move and he doesn’t and then there’s-The crunch of something underfoot. Eggshell.“This was NOT OUR FAULT you built your tavern on a DRAGON NEST what in HEL’S BALLS.”
