Watching over them Last but most certainly not least for AAM is the lovely and talented @velocesmells~ I only discovered her art and comic a year or so ago, but she has jumped into my top inspirations very quickly. Her art always fills me with awe and her comic is one I have fallen in love with and recommend to everyone. For her tribute drawing, I had trouble picking who to draw because her characters are all so compelling, but in the end I decided on Begonia because she is a goddess~ Judy, thank you for all the inspiration and hours of enjoyment your work has brought me! I can’t wait to see more from you as you continue to grow and develop :)

Noa is excited about her new (small) sword and shield! Next up for AAM is none other than the lovely @lulles :) I found her through her beautiful Legend of Zelda art and have been an avid fan of everything she has produced since. Her paintings have such a vibrant softness to them that make me feel all warm inside~ For her tribute drawing, I drew her OC Noa and gave her a sword because she seems like the kind of kid who would have one! Thank you Luisa for being such an inspiration over the years! I hope you have a wonderful new year :)

Daisies Next up for AAM is @gorillaprutt, artist extraordinaire and a huge inspiration to me! His art and animations are so simple and minimalistic, but incredibly breathtaking. I have been a fan for many years and always love to see his art when he posts it. I decided to draw him his OC Daisy because I love her so much. She’s adorable and has a really cool design. So thanks John for being so amazing and I with you all the best for this new year :)

Let’s do this! The artist for today’s AAM is @firstnamezacklastnamemorrison! Their webcomic Paranatural is just AMAZING and I love it dearly. Their style is so expressive and their goofs never fail to make me laugh. For their tribute drawing, I had to draw my favorite characters: Isabel and Eightfold~ It may be a pipe dream, but I’m still holding on to hope that one day they can be reunited :’D So thank you Zack for all the joy, laughter, suspense and tears over the years. I cannot wait to see all you do in the future :)

We share our sins... For my penultimate AAM tribute, I’m honoring the fantastic and amazing @tinypaint! I have been following her art and comic (@avasdemon) for several years and she never ceases to amaze me. When I got my first Intuos, I remember referencing her tutorials because I wanted to be like her. To this day, she is still a constant source of inspiration and one of my biggest influences as I foray into more painterly work. For her tribute drawing, I decided to “sin swap” the main cast~ So thank you thank you thank you Michelle for everything you’ve done and inspiration you’ve given me :) I look forward to seeing even more

And with that, AAM is done!

Although “Artist Appreciation Month” ended up taking more than a month to complete, I’m so happy with the results. I loved honoring the artists that inspire me daily and giving something back. So thanks again to all those artists, may we all keep creating and making the world a more vibrant place :)

I reference her work regularly for inspiration and sometimes just to be wowed by how good it is. Study Night

The artist for today’s Artist Appreciation Month is @inktho! Her art is absolutely stellar, especially her inking and linework. I love all her Fire Emblem art especially of her MU and Ricken, so when it came to choosing who to draw, there was only one option! Poor kid tuckered himself out studying magic.
