So here is my current problem:
My numerical solution to a drift path due to gradb drift path comes out to sweep through 4hrs mlt in about 29 minutes.
My analytical solution gets 12 minutes (seen above).
I have been told a reasonable time for this path is about 7 minutes, but I’m not sure if this is acceptably close or not.
When calculated by hand (by me) using the standard dipole approximation as shown in the second image, it should be 10 minutes.
So 4 different methods with 4 different answers. Much confuse.
