🧒 This'un :] One of my favourite questions and one of my favourite things to learn about people's OCs, just because of how much it can vary!

Hiii! Thank you for the ask! (Sorry it took so long for me to get around to it haha)

How does your Drifter feel about their counterpart/The Operator?

I've partially answered this one here - but to summarize, she tries her best to see the Operator/Eden as their own person. To see them for the same deeply traumatized child she was, and not as 'the lucky one' that got out, because there were arguably worse things waiting for her on the other side of the Void in Tau/Perita. She's happy that Eden came out as well as she did. She's intelligent, detail oriented, confident, and likeable - all things Locke thinks she isn't. She knows it's not a fair comparison but as I mentioned in the other ask she does see them as kind of a little sister who's also the golden child and she's just kind of. there.

She really tries to never make Eden aware of any of the deeper feelings. Locke tries to guide her and be there for her as much as she can.

Hi there! If you could meet one of the character from books you've ever read, who would it be?

I've been thinking on this answer for a couple of hours now, and my answer is that I can't answer.

I have read enough books that every time I think I know the answer, I immediately go "But wait!! What about this character???" And its back to square one.

If I were forced to choose, I would have to go Gandalf grom LOTR, but again, my mind keeps saying "WHAT ABOUT ARAGORN? BOROMIR? SAM?????" And its really just a vicious cycle.

It's for this reason that I don't choose favorite movies/books. There's too many that I love.

But, for the purpose of this ask, Gandalf. He's great.

Oh boy!! I love getting these, even if I accidentally let this one simmer in my inbox for a while... Anyways. Give things that make me happy...

1. Got a new roommate, who happens to be my best friend! So far, that's pretty rad.

2. I've been getting some time to draw again, so I'm pretty psyched about that.

3. It's wintertime, which I love because now I can wear my favorite jacket around. It's long and black and really great and I love it.

4. Probably going to start having a discount on my rent. That's a pretty neat concept.

Hi! How about 1, 3, 15, 26?

Hello! Sorry it took me a bit to answer this!!

1: Describe my comfort zone - a typical me-fic? Well, to put it simply, a typical fic that I like to both read and write is something with some angst, but ultimately a happy ending. Too much angst requires me to be in the right mood, and a non-happy ending makes me decide to not read the fic again. I LIKE THE CHARACTERS TO END HAPPY, DAMMIT!

3: Is there a trope I wouldn't touch with a 10-foot pole? Yes. I'm not a big fan of stuff created with the sole intent of being sexual. Big surprise there, coming from the asexual. Beyond that, I'm not sure. Probably some other ones that I wouldn't touch exist, but I haven't found them.

15: If I could choose one of my fics to be filmed, which one would I choose? You just HAD to ask that one, didn't you? The hardest one so far. Well, I'm not sure. When I'm writing, I'm also asking myself in the back of my mind "How would this be filmed?" And I write in a way that seems the most "cinematic" in my mind. So, with that in mind, I'm not sure which one I'd choose. There is an older fic I wrote, called "The Trials of Ladybug and Chat Noir" which would be neat to see filmed, I think. Then, there's "A Game of Chat and Bug" which could be interesting. And, "Kleptomarinette" would be cool, mainly because the tricks would difficult to pull off on screen. I can't choose between those three. Maybe y'all can help decide?

26: Do I beta myself? If so, what kind of beta am I? I do beta myself. Sometimes, I'll ask for a beta on here, but I always fall behind on the story, then feel bad for not sending them the next chapter, and it all becomes a big mess, so I usually stick to doing it myself. As for what sort of beta I am, well, an inconsistent one, to be sure. Sometimes, I'll reread the whole chapter several times, making some small changes here and there. And other times, I post it as soon as I'm done writing the chapter, with no checking over it and I get to deal with the consequences of my actions later.
