"Och, where did tha' arrow g'?" Merida mumbled, eyes scanning the wide area around her. Furrowing her brow she allowed herself a moment to sulk before straightening, deciding that after a good twenty minutes it was best that she give up her search.
Out of the corner of her eye she caught sight of something embedded in a tree trunk, turning quickly and grinning. There indeed was her arrow and she took no time in wrapping her limps around the tree and working her way up, cursing her heavy skirts the entire way.
The arrow was stuck a good way inside, though with a few good tugs she had pulled it out. Before she was able to take pride in her accomplishment however, she was falling, the soft grass being her only cushion.
"Crivvens," she groaned, the air flattened out of her. Looking up she was surprised to be met with the sight of two blue eyes and offered a sheepish grin.
"Hello there."
