The time has finally come for Derrick and I to beef it.

Update:  

Miata still beat up, but lookin a wee bit better.  Upgraded to 15′s since rocking 14′s for a solid two years.  No the headlights are not legal and I know, they look ugly.  Had a new years drift party and actually spun the the 15′s. (at 60-70 psi mind you).  Real update is there’s a turbo kit sitting in my bedroom and it’s going on the car probably during tax season.

Can’t wait, I gotta tell ya.

Over at SB Garage getting a fresh alignment for Sonoma Drift tomorrow. Forgot to bring my SD card so the real photos will have to come later. Just a few more finishing touches to take care of when I get home... It feels great being ready for the track a day early.

No more drifting for me for a long time.

Just came across the tech inspection form for Winter Jam comp

Fuuuuuuck there's no way I'm gonna make it this year.  It's only 1 month away.

I need: -Oil pan gasket fixed (need to drop subframe for that ugh) -Replace drivers seat with FIA approved one ($$$$$$$$) -Door bars -Misc. electrical cutoff switches -Fire extinguisher -Clean engine bay... (mine is caked with oil from previous leaks in various places)

Who knows what else the inspectors will find on my car, I don't even want to know...

So yesterday on my way to work it must have rained for about 2 minutes, but huge drops of water were coming down so it actually got wet on the road.  I figured why not take a little detour and kick the ass out to see how much wet traction these tires have?  

It turns out.  No wet traction!  I spun like a bitch.
