I hate the Drift/Wing ship.

Hot take: as a huge idw Drift and Deadlock fan, I actually dont like it when he is depicted with animalistic behaviors in fanon material. Especially when it comes to ships like Dratchet and DriftWing.
I feel like it takes away his autonomy (which, btw, is a big part of his story: gaining personal autonomy). Drift doesn't need to be tamed, he's a person too.
The reason I like DriftWing in particular is because Wing is one of the only characters to see Deadlock as an individual that deserves fair treatment. He sees them as equals because they are. Drift isn't a pet and frustration doesn't turn someone into a beast
