TEAM MAGMA URGENT MEMO
Hi all-
It has come to my attention that someone in the outreach and public relations department has been erroneously spreading LIES and FALSE INFORMATION on our social media page.
You CANNOT, SHOULD NOT, and UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, EVER drink, touch, or otherwise interact with lava. It WILL kill you.
The average temperature of lava is 1250 degrees Celsius, or 2000 degrees Fahrenheit for all of you Unovans who happen to follow our page.
This would, to put it very lightly, give you a nice, lovely burn that may leave you without hands.
Do not touch molten lava. Ever. Unless you are using equipment specifically designed to do so, I cannot emphasize enough, you CANNOT, SHOULD NOT, and UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES touch and especially not DRINK lava. Good lord. A significant portion of you are geology students. The lack of critical thinking and logical reasoning skills demonstrated here today gives me great concerns about the future and well-being of this team as well as raises several questions about the kind of education you are receiving. Cease.
Obsidian, on the other hand, which is in fact felsic lava that has cooled enough to turn to stone, is quite lovely. Feel free to touch at will. Do not consume.
Courtney would you PLEASE report to my office immediately.

Lava is just a forbidden earth gusher
i tend to view it as a drink but you’re not wrong
I'd say lava is cool, but I think that's called an igneous rock.
you’ve been paying attention in your geology lessons, i see
