i lovE thEsE LAgOs sTREETs! Paul had just closed from duty and joined us at a drinking spot behind Freedom Park. Still in his duty attire, and wielding his AK47 riffle, he sat behind us. He made a sound to make us know he was around so we turned and greeted him. Our conversation changed when we recognized his presence. I sarcastically asked "are you are police officer?" Paul laughed and said "Yes na, but you can see I'm in a uniform." Paul is originally from Calabar. He came to Lagos to look for job and he was "lucky" to be recruited into the police service. I asked "sir, what do you think about Lagos?" he smiled and replied "I love Lagos, opportunities are here but it's left to you to find them." As we were about leaving, he said "I'll see you tomorrow?" and we responded yes. We are Definitely going back there today!
