Sai and Fai?

who’s the cuddler: Fai. Sai learns quickly enough though.

who makes the bed: Either. Whoever gets to it first.

who wakes up first: Probably Sai.

who has the weird taste in music: 'Weird' is a very relative term but…I will say Fai.

who is more protective: Hrm. Probably Sai, though Fai has that streak in her too. Especially where what bits she’s learned of his past are concerned.

who sings in the shower: Fai. Sai likes to listen (she sounds so happy, carefree, alive) but when he says so she gets embarrassed, so he doesn’t mention it again. He still listens though.

who cries during movies: Fai. It is an unspoken goal of Sai’s to one day be in touch enough with himself that he can be that emotionally affected by the telling of a story as well.

who spends the most while out shopping: Fai with groceries etc. Sai when it comes to art supplies, for either of them.

who kisses more roughly Ack. Everything I’ve ever pondered with these two has tended toward the soft-and-sweet. I will say probably Fai in the beginning, Sai as time goes by and self-assurance grows.

who is more dominant: Hm. Fai. Sai is very careful with her while he learns what he’s doing, so generally she’s leading/suggesting/guiding/etc. I’m sure eventually they’ll reach a point where he feels confident taking the lead with her, once she’s taught him all about what she likes. ♥

my rating of the ship from 1-10: 9. OC ships were always something I never saw myself doing but as it turns out, I really like the way these two ended up playing together so.

20. What were the most deeply impressive political or social, national or international, events that they experienced?

This is going to sound so conceited but my muse is conceited butt so I'm so so terribly sorry-- *weeps*

It was the years prior to the Second Shinobi War (or prior to Suna's involvement in it). During this time, most of the powerful nations were expanding their territories and Suna was not exempted from this undertaking. To Ryōzen, it was deeply impressive because of the mechanisms that were at play during these few years.

It was like a beautifully conducted human experiment.

He could see how people could unite others with such simple rhetoric. How anonymity and group effects made people do things they would not normally do otherwise. How he could (with a few additions that he could attribute to someone else if it were deemed undesirable) push the shinobi to be more brutal than before. How their reputation made several villages kneel to Sunagakure before they even came. How much of these villages he could claim for his own with promises of protection from these elite shinobi.

Ryōzen was something of a general during these times and his ascent to being Kazekage soon followed.

"Tsunade-sama, please calm down," he softened his voice to make it seem more concerned. Everyone seemed to be panicking with the recent influx of news coming from neighboring villages about attacks of sorts. Some reports spoke of attacks; others said that there will be one; yet others said there were none. It seemed the agitation of the Hokage tower was affecting the Hokage herself as well. He is oblivious to her concerns for those who may be in danger due to those attacks.

"No one is lying to you. There are merely conflicting reports," he pressed a hand on her shoulder, urging her to take a seat. "Perhaps we should figure out a way to gather more information-- see which of the reports are true."

☑ - A fact about the character

Ryōzen has an unexplained fondness for certain animals. Among them are foxes, snakes, birds of prey, and jackals. If he saw any on the streets, he would feed them and sometimes even sneak them inside his house (when he was younger). He might even take a longer route if it passed by one of the usual haunts of these animals. He'd definitely snap at those who had intentions of harming these animals. It's a fondness, though, that rarely grows into attachment--- he did not mourn the loss of an animal when it dies or moves away as most children did. But they were always fun to have around, nonetheless.

Promise, Monster, Laugh

Put a word in my ask and I will write a Headcanon about it for my Muse.

Promise:-When it comes to promises, Orochimaru never fails to deliver. He tends to keep his end of the bargain, unless he is screwed over. If this happenes, run. He will hunt you down and make you pay.

Monster:-Orochimaru knows of the rumours that people spread about him. And one of the more well known rumours are of him being called a monster. If anything, he considers this a compliment for her has transcended being human and became something that not many can become.

Laugh:He barely laughs in the company of others. Kabuto is the only one who has probably seen and heard the Sannin laugh. He laughs only when pleased with himself or when his findings are true. Otherwise, he doesn't show this action at all.

Well, that wasn't the reaction he had been expecting. He was, after all, only paving the way for the fastest route that could be traveled by both Konoha and Suna shinboi. That route was through this village.

Very slowly, the Sandaime Kazekage pulled out the kunai that was thrust deeply into this person's gut. "The community did not surrender to us," Ryōzen said simply, wiping the bloody kunai with a cloth before keeping it in his pouch.

It only belatedly occurred to him that he was talking to a Konoha shinobi-- someone who was fortunate enough to grow in a village surrounded by lush trees and clear rivers. "Tsunade-sama, Sunagakure is not a village that can spare resources. We barely have enough to provide each citizen with three full meals each day-- we do not have enough rations for any prisoners." It had been part of an old treaty after all that prisoners must be treated humanely and they must be provided with adequate food, water, shelter, and other basic needs.

Ryōzen finally turned to face her, "Dead men don't consume resources."

Breathes on your shoulder… holy shit have you read House of Many Ways by Dianne Wynne Jones? It’s the sequel to Howl’s Moving Castle.

Unfortunately, I have not. the only sequel I was able to get a hold of was Castle in the Air and I didn't like that one very much. The writing wasn't as engaging and there just wasn't enough of the charm of the first book to hold my attention.

Hiruzen has died

".....has died." finish it in my ask.

Odd as it might have seemed to someone who didn't understand his thought processes, Torifu's first thoughts after the news was announced had absolutely nothing to do with the tragedy that had befallen Konoha, nor the fact that it meant power would be--once again--changing hands so relatively soon.

His first thoughts were about clothing, though not because of any sort of vanity.

He simply dreaded getting the necessary items out because every time he bothered with it, misery was the sole cause--and said misery never failed to bring back memories he'd much prefer keeping at the back of his mind.

One of the first times he donned the ever-familiar black mourning wear had been when his mother's body was returned to their village, because as her only child (and because her husband was not there, having never returned from the same mission during which his wife had perished), it was left up to him (and only him) to bury her.

The next had been for the funeral of the woman he had intended to marry, with the damned profession of being a shinobi taking her life, just as it had taken so many others.

(Really, it had stolen away the beginning of another life as well, but he rarely ever spoke of it; after all, he and Amai hadn't been ready to announce that they were expecting a child quite yet).

Several other lives were lost over the years, the numbers climbing higher and higher than he ever would've liked to think about, with the most recent out of the people he had known being his old teammate, Kagami.

They might not have been extremely close, especially as the years went by, but Torifu had always thought of the Uchiha as a brilliant teammate and a good man in general--and to a point, he had even felt a touch of envy from time to time because that man had what he never would... but he never once found himself wishing anything for Kagami but good things.

He hated how Shisui had cried at the sight of his father's body (not because he found it irritating, but rather, because he felt guilty that there was nothing he could to do help), and he especially hated how Danzo had said nothing in response.

But to hear that Hiruzen had perished, and at the hands of one of his past students at that, Torifu did not become angry, and his hands didn't even curl into fists.

Instead, he heaved a heavy sigh of equal parts defeat and exhaustion, turning to go search for the funeral garb that he had thought (and hoped, though he knew it was foolish to do so) he would never have to wear again while he was still among the living.

After all, there was really nothing else he could do.
