I did some writing earlier today, which was great! Not a huge word count, but definitely progress.

Then I had planned to write tonight after we got back from dinner at our friends’ place. But I had sort of counted on them probably going easy on the drinks, on account of their two small kids that they need to get into bed early. BUT apparently they drink a lot because THEY HAVE TWO SMALL KIDS THAT THEY NEED TO GET TO BED EARLY and now I am listing to the side at my computer.

No one should let me go to Whole Foods right after a wine tasting.

mmmmm pancakes... i'm a bottle and a half in rn and i really want frech toast!

We’re in agreement; it’s totally time to crash. And gah, NOW I WANT FRENCH TOAST. The mister has work-related brunch plans tomorrow, and I thought, eh, I won’t make the usual Sunday pancakes bc it’s just me. But maybe I will French Toast it!

I feel this! I am a total lightweight!

I’m glad we can be part of this club together! I go so quickly from, oh, this is fun, I’m a little buzzed, to waving my finger in people’s faces and saying, “Lemme tell you ‘nother thing” (and wanting pancakes).
