Umberstar (formerly Umberspots) - Dripclan's leader. Responsible, great hunter + fast runner. 8 lives (lost life defending an apprentice from a badger) Center of a TONNNN of drama. A non insignificant number of Driftclan cats kind of hate her guts. Some notable Umberstar drama includes: 1) murdering her deputy's apprentice in secret only to admit to the clan that it was her over a year later, justifying it by saying that Sedgepaw was "planning on doing something that would damage the clan," 2) preemptively declaring war on another clan, resulting in the deaths of four Driftclan cats, and 3) becoming mates with Pumpkinstripe, and then literally the next moon invited her lesbian love affair rouge partner into the clan to ALSO be her mate. god forbid a woman do anything tbh
Midnightspots - Dripclan's deputy. Competitive, great hunter + steady paws. The main interesting thing about Midnightspots (other than the fact that one of his apprentices got murdered by the clan leader, lol) is the fact that his mate, Whirlpoppy, was also his first apprentice. Also he HATED Pumpkinstripe, one of Umberstar's mates, and actually ended up celebrating his death when Pumpkinstripe was killed by a snake. Now has three kits with Whirlpoppy (Nightkit, Moonkit, and Shadekit)
Fogbee - Dripclan Medicine cat. Compassionate, impressive climber. Her first crush, Blotchfreckle, died in the war against Juniperclan. Now mates with Riftbud, a mediator and former member of Gravelclan (and mother of Sedgepaw, the apprentice murdered by Umberstar). Does not trust Umberstar at all, and she dislikes most of the other medicine cats in Dripclan. TBH she kind of has a bad opinion of a large portion of the clan. One of the funniest being Mullberrybramble, who she has a pretty high romantic attraction towards despite disliking and distrusting him. Mentored Pebblegrass.
Mullberrybramble - Dripclan warrior. Childish, great hunter. One of my favorite Dripclan cats tbh. He left the clan moon 2 in order to live with Fumble, a loner he fell in love with. He was found and rejoined the clan in moon 4. He then immediately tried to confess his feelings to Umberstar and got rejected. He gave up on Fumble the next moon. Fumble was then found a few moons later and also joined the clan, and the two immediately made up and became mates again. They now have 2 adopted kids (now both warriors), Rustleeye and Cloverspeckle. He's one of the only cats in the clan who actually likes Umberstar other than her mate(s). Also there are a LOT of cats who have at least some amount of romantic feelings towards him. I'm also pretty sure he almost got murdered once? For a couple of moons, he kept getting feelings that he was being watched while out alone. Eventually he caught Kestrelchirp, a cat who disliked him at the time, following him. The two of them are now at least amicable now but that was so scary at the time lol. Briefly mentored Pebblegrass before she switched to medicine cat, and mentored Burnburst (Sedgepaw's sister)
Moorpelt - Dripclan warrior. Charismatic, beloved kitsitter + fast runner. Was an apprentice when clan was founded. Mentored by Blotchfreckle (now deceased). While still an apprentice, he broke his leg while defending Blotchfreckle from a dog, which delayed his warrior ceremony by several moons. Leg is now permanently weak because of this. Knew about Mullberrybramble and Fumble from the start. He kept it secret until Mullberrybramble left, after which he told Thriftkit (now Thriftfox). Moorpelt and Thriftfox are now mates.
Thriftfox - Dripclan warrior. Lonesome, unusually strong fighter. Was a kit on clan founding. Mentored by Midnightspots. Despite being younger than Moorpelt, he was made a warrior first. Was given his warrior name at the same time as Foxdusk, whom he was close friends with (and had a crush on at the time). Became mates with Moorpelt after Foxdusk's death. Despite having maxed out trust, like, and comfort with Moorpelt, he actually does NOT respect his mate at all. Mentored one of the Mullberrybramble + Fumble kids, Rustleeye
Whirlpoppy- Dripclan warrior. Vengeful, great speaker + helpful insight. My beautiful girl with a tshirt <3. Was an apprentice on clan founding. Mentored by Midnightspots, who she is now mates with. As an apprentice, she was scarred when fighting a dog to protect Mullberrybramble (who left to live with Fumble that same moon). Very close friends with both Moorpelt and Thriftfox. Also one of the very few Dripclan cats who actually likes Umberstar. Has negative opinions of a lottttt of her clanmates. Apprenticed two of the Grass Wonder kids, one of which died as an apprentice and one died immediately after becoming a warrior. Has three kits with Midnightspots.
Fumble- Dripclan medicine cat. Sneaky, strange dreamer + valuable insight. On moon 2, Mullberrybramble left the clan to live with Fumble as a loner. Mullberrybramble rejoined the clan a few moons later without Fumble. The clan searched for Fumble for several moons. He was either not found or fled- during one of the moons he fled, Fumble and Mullberrybramble actually met up again at the border. He was eventually convinced to join Dripclan, and he immediately got together with Mullberrybramble again. Dripclan and Juniperclan began fighting the next moon- He started as a warrior, but became a medicine cat after their senior medcat, Coraltooth, died of a heart attack due to stress from the conflict. The only other medicine cat he actually likes is Pebblegrass, and he actively hates the other two (Fogbee + Orchidfang). Has two adoptive kids with Mullberrybramble, Rustleeye and Cloverspeckle.
Pebblegrass- Dripclan medicine cat. Bold, fantastic healer. Joined the clan during a moon 0 patrol as a newborn with her siblings (Perchkit, Firekit, Twistkit, and Dovekit) and their father, Grass Wonder, when she was a kit. She is now the only surviving member of Grass Wonder's family. One of her siblings, Perchkit, died moon 1 from wasting disease. Firepaw died shortly after becoming an apprentice while saving Twistpaw from a hawk. Twistpaw then died during the war against Juniperclan while fighting alongside Dovepaw. Dovepaw was made a warrior (Doveclaw) and then died that same moon to Juniperclan as well. Grass Wonder then died a moon later from an infected claw wound from a rouge. When Pebblepaw was a warrior apprentice, she actually saved the lives of two Juniperclan cats by fighting off predators. Pebblepaw switched to a medicine cat apprentice soon after Firepaw's death after joining Mullberrybramble and Fumble to collect herbs. Mates with Brightoat, the son of Orchidfang (another medicine cat) and Kestrelchirp (the cat who stalked Mullberrybramble for a while), and has four kits- Echokit, Dawnkit, Wheatkit, and Garlickit
