What will happen with the way computer companies run the way create, distribute and repair their hard drives in the computers they sell if people can simply back up the drives on their computer? This is a question that I thought of as I looked over this tutorial. I can vouch, as I'm sure many of you can, for the fact that computer technology sucks when it crashes on you at the wrong time. You have to take it to a shop and call this person and that person. Or you can be impatient like me and cough up another $500-$700 for a new one and start the process all over again. Just think of the money, time and energy I could have saved if I had known about DriveImage back then. But I must ponder on the idea that if I had, the computer companies might be at a loss. Good for us as buyers but yet and still it moves the technology of our time ahead as producers and consumers compete for power over our digital lives.
