I wish we got to see more of randy's personality in the passenger. I love Randy's character and I think the writer and Johnny did a good job at = depicting how some trauma can affect somebody butttttttttt Randy isn't really a character outside of that iykwim??

Speaking as somebody who is both probably autistic and also had some traumatic stuff happen to me when I was like 4-11 causing me a whole lot of guilt. I act a lot like randy around people I don't know/don't fw. But I also like, have a personality outside of that. The closest the movie gives you to actual characterization for randy is how he interacts with Lisa and his mom which could both definitely be because he's in an active hostage situation with a crazy bisexual .

#I understand that they probably didn't include more personality stuff other than being a pushover because of #like #runtime #but also they could have like shown what type of music he listens to or a conversation with his mom before work or something #It would have been cool if thought the movie his personality got a little more obvious #Cause then the viewer would be seeing him as more of a person at the same time that Benson is #I think that would have been better like naratively rather than Benson plan like actually working #idk I don't fw the ending very much #the passenger 2023 #The passenger #randy the passenger
