Akira’s favorite character in Final Fantasy 7 is of course, Vincent Valentine. Tragic past, worked in an organization that isn’t all that good morally speaking, being betrayed, shot and mortally wounded, having demons inside of him, silent, wield guns, a bit of a loner, wanted to stop a madman, becomes crazy when summoning Chaos. It’s not hard to see why Akira likes Vincent’s character a lot. And he looks and sounds cool even though he acts like a dork when asking about where to buy a phone. Plus they both have a red & black color scheme with a small dash of another pigment. I wouldn’t be surprised if Atlus wanted to monopolize on the ‘Vincent Valentine’ look when designing Akira and his phantom thief outfit to be honest.

    EXHAUSTION WEIGHS UPON  him as the battle draws out, but still he holds his blade before him, forearm draped over his knee. the beast before them is a great, intimidating thing;  wings outstretched  &  teeth bared.  ‘ careless... ’ he berates himself, silently. knows that if his mind had been there with him, that this would  never have  happened. so many things have been grating on him lately  /  distracting him. so much so that he even struggles to do that which he does best:  kill, hurt...  overcome. the beast lunges, and his head turns.

    there’s a flicker of red, blooming into something greater. the material brushes against his bloodied skin, and before he knows it the creature has been felled. ( ... gunshots,  grunting, blood sputtering across the cave floor )  peering up, the blond hesitates.  “ ... vincent ? ”  is all he manages, dread pooling in his gut. he might look better off than cloud, but that sure doesn’t mean he looks  good.   far from it, and all to cover his sorry ass. mustering what strength he has left, cloud hauls himself up onto both feet;  uses his sword for leverage.

    “ sorry, i... ”  a pause, and he contemplates. bashfully, almost, averts his gaze.  “ i mean... thanks. if you hadn’t done somethin’ there i’d have been a goner. ”
