learning to slow down (literally)
There’s something oddly satisfying about learning how to brake smoothly.
Not just in driving—but in life too.
10 days ago, I was the kind of learner who:
hit the brakes too hard
panicked at every turn
overthought every move
Now? I’ve learned to slow down before things get messy.
Driving taught me this: You don’t wait for the turn to react—you prepare for it.
Same goes for everything else.
If you’re learning to drive, or just learning car better—take it slow. Practice. Repeat.
Confidence doesn’t come overnight, but it does come.
And sometimes, all it takes is 10 days of showing up.
