It's strange because I feel the exact opposite of you. The season might actually have my full attention, lol while last season and of course the horrid s3 I was tuning out halfway through. Definitely has that Mad Max vibe going on and it feels more energized but that's just me. Also the lack of Blarke is a GOOD thing. That little blurb at the end where we saw all the relationships except Blarke is a big red flag to me, especially with JRoth's preaching that they are the backbone of the show.

Of course this could all come back and bite me in the butt but Idk, I feel pretty good about this season. Okay shutting up now, lol.

I definitely agree with you! I think they’re saving all the Bellarke content for the actual eps so I’m glad we didn’t see any clips in the trailer. Plus we still got some sweet snippets anyway. For some reason I’m still not excited for Bellarke though. Maybe because I don’t know what to expect? So I haven’t even been able to daydream about them for over a year? I could end up being pleasantly surprised  when the season starts but at the moment I don’t really feel anything for them. I’m still half convinced they won’t be made canon until the last season because I’m the worst pessimist in the world lmao I’m sorry ya’ll at least I admit it.

As for every other aspect of S5…I hope you’re right and I’m wrong lol I really do. And you probably are! That trailer just did not give me any new information and therefore did not do anything for me :(

You can post this: Do you have any headcanons about Steve and his mom? Since it's pretty clear he was a big momma's boy, lol. Anything he does to honor her in the present day and any cute little things they maybe did together before she passed away?

um…mothers are a bit of a sad, sore subject for me so i haven’t thought about any of it tbh.

i’d imagine that steve in present day has a sketch of her in his home like the dancing monkey one that (formerly) resides in his office at the avengers complex…he might even have an actual photo of her if shield managed to keep some of his other belongings preserved.

he doesn’t need a lot of sleep because of the serum but i’d think on some of the more restless nights where he can’t quiet his mind, since he’s irish he employs the old gaelic proverb: “an rud nach leigheasann im ná uisce beatha níl aon leigheas air” which roughly translates into “what butter or whiskey will not cure there is no cure for”...aka he slathers butter on pieces of warm bread and drinks whiskey until he can a.) finally sleep or b.) go out for a run.

prior to her death and the serum…i think she encouraged his drawing and between working herself to the bone to pay for any and all medications he needed whenever he got sick, she put whatever money she could aside to save enough funds to buy him art supplies.

Well he did lose almost everything he had ever known and all of the people he thought were his friends turned their backs on him and he does STILL have Jason's memories. I think he has the right to be a 'cry baby' for a little while, since his whole life is now gone.

Jason lost just as much if not more. He lost the most precious thing to anyone who is living, TIME. He lost time with his son, his idenity for 5 years, Sam and when he came back 5 years later Sam was so shut down that she didn’t act like she even cared. So, yeah, Drew “lost” who he was for all of two or three years? And he really didn’t even lose that since he still has Jason’s memories.

that’s actually a weird as hell story. so it was explained the kids were made by wanda’s hex magic, but then it was revealed they were only apparitions of wanda’s subconscious (she imagined them). later wanda forces them into existence using her reality-warping powers.

so really wanda pulled a virgin mary and made herself some baby jesus’s and vision didn’t have much to do with it.

You can post this: Who do you think Steve Rogers would be in real life without Cap? Like would he be an art teacher or a police officer? Nurse? Stay at home dad?

I clarified this with you already so here we go:

I live for no powers!au Steve so I want him to be living in a small town upstate where he’s either a lumberjack, wood carver, or carpenter by day and spends his evenings in his log cabin sketching in the nook he’s built by the fireplace in his log cabin and routinely helps the elderly woman who lives not far from his home with getting her cat out of a tree. 

He doesn’t have kids but he helps build sets for plays the local elementary school puts on, and no one can resist his charm. 

Look at him. He’s in plaid. Who on earth could.

omg Arya holding Gendry's hand so she doesn't lose him - so maybe he has a habit of wandering off whenever she turns her back. They go to a farmer's market and someone's showing off their fluffy woodland creatures and he turns into a big kid and runs off to see the animals. After the fourth time and she doesn't find him for an hour and starts to panic, she has to threaten him with a backpack leash.
