Idk if Tumblr has seen the Nightmare (axe) I made for my c!Dream Halloween costume. I spent most of the day before and throughout Halloween working on it but I’m so proud of all the little details I included.

I think the quote on the axe (in the enchanting table language) translates to “in all destruction there is a new beginning.”

the strips of paper were my headcanon for how enchantments work (basically the enchanting books have slips of the written enchantments and then you recite what is said in rhe book which binds to whatever is being enchanted) and so they’re all the enchantments that nightmare has.

and down the bottom of the handle translates to nightmare.

Also the gold is a highlight because it not only contrasts the purple of the enchantment, but links to the fact you need it to make netherite, otherwise you’re stuck with useless netherite scraps.
