Just as it's become a tradition for me to get a pair each year, it's now part of my tradition to send Dream one too. Honestly, after hearing how happy the first pair made him and seeing the year he's had, I'd be remiss if I didn't include him in it. He deserves the same amount of love and acceptance he's shown others, and this is my way of returning it~ 💚
And I know he could get his own and they're just shoes to some, but... I know he appreciates receiving them as a gift, and someone taking the time to design them for him. And honestly, so long as they make him happy and they're something he'd like to wear, there isn't anything that'll make me not enjoy doing this. I'm perfectly happy with hearing that smile when he speaks about them and knowing he's able to express himself through them as my "investment." That's all I've ever wanted out of this, really - just his smile and returning the happiness he's given us.
Happy (early) Pride 2022 everyone - I hope you know and always remember that you are all loved, valid, and supported here. I'm proud of everyone for being who they know themselves to be, whether they're out or not. Even if you don't entirely know yourself, that's alright too - I'm still proud of you for taking the steps you need to figure it out for yourself.
I'm pleased to announce that Dream's Rainbows 2.0 have officially made it to their destination, and now all that's left is to wait until his mail sorters pass them along and he can see them for himself~ 🌈💚
