Road to Sebula pic 2 of 3... Sabula is a city in Jackson County The population was 576 at the 2010 census. Sabula is the site of Iowa's only island city. The island has a beach and a campground. It also has a harbor with boat docks and storage sheds to store some boats during the winter. First in a series of three from Sebula Iowa.. On the border of Iowa/Illinois, Sebula is one hour south of Dubuque and three hours west of Chicago.. This is cropped out of a crazy 32 pic pano gone bad.. With 15mph wind, I had a hard time flying Mavic straight and unfortunately missed a sliver in middle of pic/island.. 2nd time this has happened..
