So I just whipped the board together with some bear trucks and 65mm Sector 9 Butterballs and started rolling down the street, I did a shove it and the board landed on its side and a little bit of the wood split off the edge. I picked it up and seeing the bits of bamboo and fiberglass fraying out I decided it would be a good idea to brush it off with my hand. I was wrong. I got a massive fiberglass splinter in my middle finger which hurt more than anything I've ever felt before and it bled a bit too. After calling my girlfriend while sobbing the manliest of tears, the splinter was removed and I was back on my way to Drop carve funville. Not but half an hour later while trying out some toe side checks, I flicked the board too hard and it rolled down a sewer drain, into the dark smelly pit of doom. I don't know where it's gone, all I can say is that it clearly did not want to be my friend, I wish it would have given me a second chance before leaving like that but it obviously had somewhere better to be and I just wasn't good enough for the Drop carve. So my review of the board is: If you want to get your hopes up only to have them ripped away from you, if you want to be let down when you feel you have found the one, if you yearn for a snappy carve and drop through mounted double kick that will tear your heart out and leave you with nothing but gaping hole in your chest that can only be filled by a tub of chocolate ice cream and the complete box set of Gilmore Girls, then the Landyachtz Drop carve is for you.
