Drop it like it's...too fucking heavy and I am weak.
Calliope here, So I got a new headset on my bike today, the old bars were bent from being laid down, and turning right was a struggle as a novice. So I went to the junkyard and for 25 bucks, I got handle bars and Trav got a front fender for his KLR. Pretty good deal. Got home, put them on, and took it for a spin. The bike feels heavier, but more agile. Weird combination. Took a few laps around the neighborhood, was feeling pretty good. Then I went to park... Parking is not hard, in fact it is the easiest part. However I live on a slight hill. I thought I was past my dropping days, o contraire. Down in went. Always on my right side, the side with the hill decline. At this point I'm still a beginner. Not sure when that's go on a change. Don't be discouraged people, it's winding road to the path of competency.
