tomorrow: favourite ways to write fluff?

fluff for me... is less about the extravagant things, more about the small, simple things in life we share together. fluff and in the same vein romance, is very much about the things you do for people. so when i write fluff, it usually revolves around spending time with one another, understanding one another, acts of service for one another. like doyoung’s fic “let me love you” - to me, fluff means caring for you so i help you when i can, i do things silently for you because i really just want to make you feel better. very pure, very sweet. 

november: do you have any rituals or requirements for getting in the mood for writing?

not really but there are certain things that must happen before the story comes out. 1. there must be a really really really strong image in my mind about how it happens. like the renjun fic? i had this really clear image in my mind of a kitten running past my feet and looking up at the sky. i knew i wanted to write that so from that one scene, i eventually branch out and develop out into a fic. if there is no imagery, there is no emotions so there is no way i’ll be able to start writing. everything really starts with an image for me, and that image usually comes from my emotions or sights that i see daily. 

2. when i write i sometimes listen to music. mostly piano instrumentals that i find on youtube or spotify! studio ghibli harp and piano vers, the theory of everything and sometimes kpop songs piano instrumental. yea, my go-to playlist is piano instrumentals. 

january: what was the first fic you posted this year?

oh i actually cannot remember geez, i had to check for this one XD it’s “Perfect” that I wrote for Lucas! Posted just 3 days before “Good enough” went up - both posted back in March 

forever: do you balance fic writing with original concept stuff?

tbh no. i’ve never actually ventured out of writing fanfiction throughout my writing stint. i’ve never tried poetry, never tried writing completely original stuff. i just didn’t feel the need to nor had the desire too. but maybe that’ll change down the line.
