Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs. 1/2 cup melted butter. 3 tablespoons brown sugar. 4 packages 8 ounces each cream cheese, softened. 1 cup granulated sugar. 4 large eggs. 1/2 cup sour cream. 1/2 cup Dr Pepper. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 2 cups chopped apples. 1 cup chopped pecans. Whipped cream for topping.
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 325F 163C. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and brown sugar. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust. In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in sour cream, Dr Pepper, and vanilla extract until combined. Fold in chopped apples and pecans. Pour the mixture over the crust in the springform pan. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the center is set. Allow the cheesecake to cool completely before refrigerating for at least 4 hours or overnight. Top with whipped cream before serving.
