I'm assuming you mean Hugo and not the Marvel guy so I'll answer about him anyways HUGOOOOOOOO

First impression: Huh okay. Some scientist guy (saw him in BTAS). Also apparently he's like the only cishet Batman rogue according to my friend. Well whatever, he could make some small appearances in my head I guess

Impression now: Jesus Fucking Christ Were You Manufactured In A Lab To Appeal To Me Specifically

Favorite moment: Big fan of when he puts on a knockoff Batman suit and monologues about how he can understand Batman's mind and how Batman probably gets off on this and how he envies and hates him

Idea for a story: Teehee I'm working on one that's basically a character study from the perspective of him being gay and psychosexually obsessed with Batman and it uses the mannequin from Prey as a symbol for his repressed sexuality ^w^

Unpopular opinion: I don't see many Hugo headcanons, closest thing I can think of is I don't really see Hugo and Scarecrow being romantically involved with each other? They're like Walt and Jesse to me

Favorite relationship: I'm a Batstrange ride or die, I love when a guy is so obsessed with another guy to the point it's unclear if he wants to be with him or be him and he has extreme loyalty to the other guy to the point he fakes his death to keep his secret. There is so much potential here for a cat and mouse game between them with Hugo knowing Batman is Bruce and Bruce knowing that Hugo knows and since a lot of adaptations make Hugo work at Arkham and a publicly known figure, this forces them to interact with each other a lot both in and out of suit. I'm so normal about them. Matt Reeves if you're reading this-

Favorite headcanon: Since "Repressed gay man" is too low hanging of a fruit, I'm gonna expand on one I made before. So I've headcanoned him as European but it's never clear where he is from exactly (he'll mention different places as being part of his childhood, change his accent, etc). I've decided he's British because in his first appearance where he uses fog to cover Gotham and carry out robberies undetected, the narration compares it to London so like dude knew how to have optimal robbing conditions because he grew up in them

Back in school, meaning that time is pretty slim right now, and February is going to be particularly busy. But here's the plan going forward:

Chapter 3 of Doctor Valentine is Dead, but for real this time. Expect it in the next few days.

New western-themed oneshot currently in the works, will probably be released this month as well.

Part 4 of Beginner's Guide to Hematophagia begins work this month! Hopefully will be out before March.

After assessing my availability and wanting to keep regular updates on my long-term comms, I've decided that commissions and art trades will reopen mid-April. I'll be out of university then so I'll be able to dedicate a lot more time and energy to finishing comms quickly, including larger ones!
