Dru gazed up at the glass ceiling above the courtyard, taking a deep breath. "Can you smell it, darling? Sweeter than any wine is that which flows in the veins of those around us." Her arm curled around their bicep. "I think we should take one of the lonely hearts out of their misery."

"Isn't it pretty?" Dru gasped, looking up at the twinkling lights. "Darling, I think we're going to find much to our liking tonight." And that wasn't even factoring in the amount of humans bustling around them. "Can we go ice skating?"

Dru’s head tilted as she stared at the violet-eyed woman. “One question?” A finely arched eyebrow raised. “Riddle me this, Rumplestiltskin.” She laughed lightly. “Quick with it then, dear, I’d rather quite like to get back to the festivities. There’s some musicians playing and I just love christmas music.”

“What do you think?” She called over the music, grinning up at her beloved. Punk music had never been her thing, but when she had seen the flyer advertising the band she knew that she had to bring him. Tucking a lock of hair behind her ear, she inched closer to Spike as a rowdy concert-goer bumped into her from behind. “I thought that it would be your kind of thing.”

“Sounds like someone’s yet to find some christmas cheer.” Drusilla quipped, turning around the face the blonde. “This place is a dream come true, Claudia. Just look at all the humans milling around. We can have some fun tonight, you and I.”

“Are you lost, officer?” She cooed with a pout from her spot on the wall, legs kicking to and fro. “These aren’t streets that you want to be on at the moment. I’ve had to dodge a few rather horrible creatures myself.” But that was all part of the excitement in her opinions. Dragons, large troll-like creatures, stone angels... it was like something from the depths of her imagination.
