Sept 2013: druh has signed up China’s Shanshan Feng as a brand ambassador for its range of belts & buckles.
The 23-year-old from Guangzhou will be wearing druh belts when playing on the LPGA and the Ladies European Tour (LET).
After a shining amateur career, Feng turned pro in 2007 and in 2012 she made history as the first player from mainland China to win on the LET when she secured the inaugural World Ladies Championship individual and team titles on the Vintage Course at Mission Hills Haikou.
Later that year Feng went on to capture the Wegmans LPGA Championship by two shots to record her first major title and again wrote herself into the history books by becoming the first Chinese from the mainland to win on the LPGA.
Feng, ended 2012 with another victory in the Omega Dubai Ladies Masters on the LET in December. She credits her father, Feng Xiong and coach Gary Gilchrist as the two individuals that have influenced her career the most to date.
A vibrant personality who is keen to encourage youngsters to take up the game, Feng believes that the inclusion of golf in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro will further raise the awareness of the game in her homeland, the world’s most populous country.
Playing on both the LPGA and LET Tours, Feng plies her trade all over the world making her an ideal ambassador for the innovative druh brand that has international aspirations.
