Cryptic Explorers (at the time called Necronauts) was originally conjured up from our imaginations while we lived in the swampy lands of Florida.
An otherwise reprehensible realm filled with craven lunatics and bath-salt-eating maniacs, Florida had one greatly appreciable feature: the legendary and unmatched Death Metal scene, from which spawned some of the best death metal acts the world has probably ever seen.
We saw many alcohol-soaked shows in the Florida underground, but one act stood out from the rest for their love of their audience, interesting and powerful mix of doom and death metal sentiments, and pounding riffs: the legendary Druid Lord.
