I feel like Rodney Barnes and Jason Shawn Alexander must be kicking themselves with the massive runaway success of Sinners right now. Between Killadelphia and Nita Hawes' Nightmare Blog they really staked their claim on this exact plot of land at the crossroads of Blues×Horror but just couldn't quite strike gold. (To be fair this kinda thing goes back to the beginning with Robert Johnson, but it's been shockingly underutilized all things considered)

That said if you're big on Ryan Coogler's Sinners right now depending on the angle I cannot recommend enough Killadelphia, for a vampire story with an African-American perspective and historical fiction/fantasy spin, and Nita Hawes' Nightmare Blog for a horror story about the frought career of a prototypical American blues legend and how it intertwines with a demonic pact.
