Kit didn't think that Atticus had saw him, but Kit didn't have the type of body that easily blended into a crowd. When he could feel the eyes of the druid on him, Kit stood there completely casually, as if it was the most normal thing in the world to be looking up at the sky and judging the perfect blueness without a hint of a cloud up above.

When the other came up to Kit, he did a double take as if he hadn't seen the druid in years. A lie, mostly, but only Kit knew the truth.

"Hey, bear?" Kit said in disbelief, his arms reaching around Atticus to pick him up into a big hug. "How have you been! I-it's been ages since I've seen y-you!" While Kit's words seemed legitimate, the redness growing on his cheeks betrayed him.

sleep headcanon

If sleeping alone, Adrian will sometimes revert to his natural form by accident as his senses become heightened.  This way, he can react to dangers quicker.  As a wolf, he can be snappier and will not respond as well to being woken up depending on who it is.  He has been known to bite on several occasions, so the preferred method of waking him up is usually by food or coffee — or better yet, letting him wake up when he likes.

If sleeping with company, he will remain in human form (if he’s around humans, then he tends to stay human).  He has a habit of kicking or fidgeting in his sleep (he does this as well in wolf form) and is known to hog the blanket.  When he sleeps, Adrian likes to be as warm as possible regardless on whether or not it actually includes whoever he is sharing the bed with.  Sometimes he will accidentally kick people off the bed and steal all the sheets before anyone can wrestle them away.  For those he cares about, he will sleep facing them along with some kind of physical contact.

cooking headcanon

Adrian excels at cooking meat — preferably some kind of large game — as it tends to make up a majority of his diet.  When given the chance, he will offer to cook for others (not that this tends to happen often).  To him, cooking should be reserved for the people closest to him.  However, he often also lacks the patience to cook the meat to other people’s liking as he prefers it a bit more rare than most.

Another he likes to do would be baking.  It’s not something he does often, but as a child, he would help his mother bake cookies.  Adrian has a particular soft spot for snickerdoodles and peanut butter cookies.  Generally, he will bake for himself — and if asked about who made then,  he will say his mother did (or that they were sent to him by his mother).  He tends to bake cookies every other week or so.
