Play quarters with your left foot (hi-hat) and your kick (right foot) on 1, 4, and 7 and lean in! 🧚‍♀️ Be aware of the sticking and the melody that the pattern creates. Hello there! This is a special day for me. As I boldly declare myself The Mystique Drum Goddess with the intention to open up about my spiritual approach, I'll occasionally share drum exercises that pop up during my drum practice. ⠀ This one is excellent to work on flowing through paradiddles (RLRR/LRLL) and singles (RLRL/LRLR) in different time signatures. ⠀ Play the first and third patterns twice, this will make you play accents with the left hand, something we all need to work on.
