Spock was unsure exactly what had transpired to lead him to this point. He had, after much prodding, agreed to accompany several members of the crew to a local bar. Shore leave was never a time that he had spent carousing, much less any time, but at the Captain's continued insistence he had agreed, safe in the knowledge that Vulcan's were unaffected by alcohol. Despite his warning to to contrary, it was insisted that he join in the festivities as ship's First Officer.

That was before he had sampled the local Phalaxan wine. It had held an unassuming bouquet of pleasant fruitful flavors that he had found to be quite pleasing to his sensitive palate. After three glasses, however, he was beginning to suspect there was something different about the vintage that he had not been aware of prior to his consumption of such a copious amount. Standing for his seat he stumbled uncharacteristically,  almost falling into the person direct behind his chair as he made attempted to make his way over to the bar. "I...forgive me. I am quite unsure as to how I was unable to maneuver correctly. Are you alright?"
