Something sad about [redacted] being canon is that some of y'all believe that they did it out of good faith! Good writing! Good practices! No, they did it because the loud minority is so hungry for blood and guts that they did it...and are going to profit off of you who are so far up y'alls own asses.

Watching across the spider verse for the second time now. And I cannot think of a reason that Miguel would actually be right in any circumstance??

Like if spot was created because of the Multiverse particle collider whatever thingy from the first movie that would’ve happened anyway? He was going to be hit by the blast one way or another, and whether miles was turned by a radioactive spider from his universe or another that would’ve happened. The only difference is that Miles wouldn’t be able to stop the particle collider of his universe and Spot wouldn’t be stopped in what I am assuming would be Beyond The Spiderverse? Spot would have wreaked havoc anyway and maybe torn the space-time fabric continuum by himself.

The whole reason any of this happened was because king pin was trying to be with his family again and that was completely out of miles’s control.

Also, this entire use of cannon events comes from Miguel who wasn’t supposed to be Spider-Man anyway and the only reason he became Spider-Man was because he was messing with some type of particle collider shit that took him to another universe where he saw he had a family and he decided he like that. What was he doing messing with that shit in the first place?? Was he the king pin of his universe and then the other universe version of him died(Spider-Man)?? From what we see Miguel O’Hara was already messing with Multiverse particle collider shit and then he saw that he had a family in one universe and wanted that!

So I got home at like nearly 4am ish, drunk off my sweet little ass after drinking two and a half bottles of wine to myself while with my co-worker and his missus.

And I see that my mum has bought our dog a new sweater, and it's pink.

She's so fucking cute I'm gonna cry, her collar matches her sweater and she got so happy when I put it on her. I love this dog so much.

Maybe I’m drunk (ok I am) but I just can’t believe how amazing this week was. I had the opportunity to write up a pitch for a show, wrote two updates to a fic that I didn’t realize how much would mean to me and how much y’all’s love would mean to me, had art created for my fic?!?!, and capped the week off with a drunk dance party with my sister, who last year I only saw at Thanksgiving and now live with every damn day. And I know this year sucks. 2020 came for us all in unexpected ways. I literally had my industry shut down snd had to move out of the city I’ve lived in since 2005. But fuck. I am so happy right now. I can’t remember the last time my depressed ass was this happy and I just had to share.
