'Drunk train' service on Google Maps
THOUGH Google refuses to call it that, a feature on Google Maps is being described as the “drunk train” service that will allow users to find the last possible route home.
While Google announced last week that it had added transit information for 15,000 towns and cities around the world, after experimenting with the app, BetaBeat points out that “last” option will also allow late night revellers to plan their night according to the final train or subway home.
A feature they promptly decided to call “the drunk train”.
Like the rest of Google Maps, commute times factor in walking times to subways, buses and train times. The feature is available on iOS devices.
