***bisexual for jesus***
yep i'll fuck jesus, don't even care if he's a woman. i have no rules. i'm a wild and crazy bisexual.
Britta Perry :D
Why I like them: Because she is passionate and beautiful and she tries so hard to be good and recognises when she fails and keeps going anyway and sometimes she says dumb stuff or she says the wrong thing but her heart is in the right place
Why I don’t: I never used to like Britta that much because I didn’t used to care that much about female characters and I found her pretty boring. I guess the main thing I don’t like now is that she can be a little manipulative, but the main reason I don’t like that is because I am hugely manipulative
Favorite episode (scene if movie): It’s hard enough to find a favourite episode of Community, let alone one for a specific character… either ‘The Science of Illusion’ bc dork throwing a body out of the window and then crying at the end, or ‘Geothermal Escapism’ bc being awesome in a great outfit. But yeah there are loads of episodes I like because of her.
Favorite season/movie: She’s most empowered in s1, but I think I like her best in s2. S5 has been reallly good for Britta so far though.
Favorite line: Together my cats can do anything
Favorite outfit: Probably the one she wore in ‘Geothermal Escapism’ tbh that was ace
OTP: BRITTA/JEFF
Brotp: Britta/Abed or Britta/Annie/Shirley
Head Canon: I don’t think I have one? Idk I get confused about what’s a headcanon and what’s canon.
Unpopular opinion: Britta is super hella in love with Jeff which is unpopular in some parts of the fandom
A wish: That she and Jeff have a daughter named Casey. What.
An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: do not leave and forget the study group as you get older pls dont do that
5 words to best describe them: Stupid beautiful passionate dumb dork
My nickname for them: Well my tag for her is ‘My queen’ so I guess that

I think Centipede is linked to HYDRA and the Clairvoyant I have no idea how the rising tide fits in.
I hope they're linked to HYDRA, omg.
See, The Rising Tide is enough of a presence in the show that I know they're gonna show up later in a pretty big way. Initially, I thought it might be that Skye was working for them and infiltrating SHIELD, but they shut that plotline down within like four episodes. There has to be a plot-relevant reason that they gave it a name and had Miles show up and continue to name drop it every once in awhile. If she was just a hacker, she'd probably be on her own. There's no reason to add The Rising Tide to the worldbuilding if they're not relevant.
So I'm worried that their antagonism with SHIELD will get lumped in with Centipede's, but like??? They're hippie activists, all for net neutrality and freedom of information and transparency in government. They're not killers, or at least they shouldn't be. Centipede and the Clairvoyant are.
No ship wars. Ship and let ship. I think most people who do that kind of stuff are new to tumblr and don't 'get it' yet. We're all appreciating the same show, we're just appreciating different parts of it. And most people who watch AOS seem to multiship anyway.
i think we agree on that! i multiship hard. actually, i friend!ship hard, because if i had my way all fic would be gen, haha. but at the same time, i think that ships are really v important to people, and there's going to be negative energy between competing ships, and that trying to tell everyone to calm down is an exercise in futility, and basically just a way for certain people to feel superior (oh, they're so mature, and everyone else is a wee whiny baby 12 year old)
tension is fine. tension is expected. tension in any community is going to come up, especially one that is based around having emotions and creative impulses. but that doesn't mean that the tension has to be definitive of the fandom!
so yes 'ship and let ship', as in yeah sometimes your ship is going to butt heads with another, but responding to that by posting hate for the shippers rather than the ship (or actively seeking out shippers via the tags to start arguments) is not cool! you don't have to not care, you just have to care more about being a kind and empathetic person in this fandom and moderate responses, knowing that this too shall pass.
