“I wanted to create a mix that would have both audio and visual aspects without actually using visuals. In order to do this, I had to find a way to create a journey inside the listeners' minds. I incorporated movie quotes as a guide through this journey. For example, hearing quotes from movies trigger listeners to picture the specific movie scene (if they haven't seen the movie, they can at least use their imagination to create a scene in their heads). The ability to picture the scenes and hear the lyrics of the selected songs take the listener on a journey through their own memories. Whether it be good memories, bad memories, stories they've heard, or even just things that they may have imagined. I hope everyone hits a range of emotions listening to this mix. I left the mix untitled because everyone has their own story, thoughts, and feelings. This gives them the chance to make this mix their own and mold it to their life however it may relate.”
