Our day started out with beautiful blue skies and lovely puffy clouds that showed off this sparkling drusy Agate Slice. It is now 48 degrees and the much needed rain 🌧 has come in. We are so grateful for the rain as it was badly needed. I am glad I was able to capture this before the clouds came though! - Bruce is busy shipping all the Live Sale & Crystal Club orders this week. 🎈 - Note: this piece sold on our Crystal Club. - - - #agate #drusy #agatestone #agateslice #sun #sunshine #sunshine🌞 #chalcedony #crystalglow #blueskies #crystals #crystalart #glowing #crystalmagic #agategeode #lovecrystals #crystalcommunity #humpday #coloradoskies #shareyourheart #handsofspirit (at Hands of Spirit Gallery) https://www.instagram.com/p/CUbMXKmA459/?utm_medium=tumblr
Crystal, snugly wrapped in its sleeping bag I've never seen a piece quite like this one mined in Namibia and measuring 6 x 3.5 x 3 cm. After the iron hued amethyst finished growing, a later generation of fine white quartz drusy crystals grew over it, wrapping it in a snug duvet. Since I'm about to fly from midwinter to midsummer, and feeling the current Patagonian cold, I feel kind of envious of this pretty little quartz. Loz Image credit: Rob Lavinsky/iRocks.com
