Nestled along the confluence of the Bay of Bengal, near the Cox's Bazar airport, lies Naziratek—a bustling hub renowned as the largest dried fish processing zone, or "Shutki Mahal," in Bangladesh. Spanning approximately 200 acres, this area has evolved over the past decade into a pivotal center for the country's dried fish industry. The transformation of Naziratek into a dried fish epicenter is a testament to the dedication of around 2,000 traders who have invested in the region, establishing over 50 wholesale shops.
