Soo.. it’s #TextureTuesday and i wanted to show you all the texture of my new premium round dry brush! This brush has got dry bristles and these plastic knobby things for massaging your skin. With a strong durable strap and cherry wood it’s beautiful. The natural brush fibers are stiff but soften up with use. . . Have you heard of dry brushing? It’s incredible for your skin! I retain my fluids because of my heart condition; so regularly my legs are inflamed, and swollen. Dry brushing helps to mitigate that. Dry brushing improves my circulation while exfoliating my skin and unclogging my pores. Sometimes i do it twice; once before moisturizer and once after to help it penetrate & tighten my skin more. On stressful days it helps to release muscle tension and toxins allowing me to relax easier. . . I found this brush by @carelavco on #Amazon and i love the variety of brushes they have! I feel like had i got one with an actual handle it’d be easier for me to use, but this is efffective for the moment. I get exhausted after using it because it doesn’t have a handle so i have to bend and reach more which is harder on my body, after a shower. For my particular condition, since i can’t over exert myself and very little effort (like this) affects me greatly, my next dry brush WILL have a long handle. Now i understand those brushes more lol. . . In addition to the reasons i dry brush my body, you should also dry brush yourself because dry brushing stimulates the lymphatic system, reduces / prevents cellulite and stretch marks, and help you restore or keep your body’s glow.
