DIANA'S BIRTHDAY
?
can you explain hyperfixation to me?
sure! here’s a screenshot of a short explanation i found:
and one can hyperfixate on anything, really! like a specific animal species, or lamps, or cars, etc.
i remember hyperfixating on literally anything related to the 1800s when i was like 12 lol. i’m not as focused on it anymore, but i still go all ‘oh??’ whenever i see/hear any mention of that era. idk why it interested me so much either. brains are weird lol. but i managed to learn a lot about the 1800s, so that’s p nice!
see, when you have a certain hyperfixation, you tend to gather a lot of information about that thing, and thus end up being really knowledgable about it. i have a friend who used to be really interested in tunnels, and he knew the exact location, name and length of most known tunnels in our country. it was really cool!
TL/DR, hyperfixations are a very common thing in neurodivergent folks!
i love your icon... looks the way i originally pictured you lol <3
thanks xD
i tried my best to make it look like me, though my irl hair is much more out of control lmao
