Being an autistic kid in the 2000s fucking sucked man. Not only were you bullied for something you couldn’t help, but the doctors were calling it assburgers too???

I don’t think this is true 100% of the time but it does seem like a good portion the time.
‘I don’t want to vaccinate my child because they might end up autistic’
Science and common sense aside, we need to talk about how the hatred for autistic people runs so deep people would rather their child die of a preventable disease than be like us.
I feel like a burden in the world I feel so wrong and pathetic
Happy autism acceptance month
Please remember to include level 2 autistics, level 3 autistics, and any medium to high support needs autistics. And to stop being so cruel. We exist and we deserve as much acceptance as level 1 and low support needs autistics do. It hurts to be excluded when it’s your own disorder. We have feelings and emotions.
Something about seeing such a realistic representation of an autistic kid still be so successful and capable is just incredibly important to me. I love Shane sm.
