Review: TimeBalm Blueberry Face Treatment Mask
Product: Blueberry Face Treatment Mask
Best for: Normal to Dry skin
I am a big fan of The Balm (TheBalm.com) so when they had a site wide 50% off sale about 3 months ago I bought my first skincare product from the brand. I was a little nervous but thought I’d give it a go.
The masks comes in a pot container of 75ml. It’s applied to dry skin (the label doesn’t say wet or dry but it works better on dry) and is left on until it hardens (about 5 minutes) and then is washed off. It’s suggested (on the label) to use on dry skin up to 3 times a week and on the webite site 1-2 times a week. But I’ll let The Balm tell you more.
Blueberry Face Treatment Mask works to tighten and renew your skin with a combination of botanical extracts known to clarify your complexion and combat visible signs of environmental stress, while Glycerine and Aloe leave the skin fully hydrated and soothed.
How to Use: _

So I have dry skin, and in the summer it needs extra exfoliating and care so I use this mask 1-2 times a week and my Biore Acne Scrub 1-2 times a week. I find the mask does gentle exfoliating and gives me skin a nice smooth finish where as my acne scrub helps fight breakouts and masks my skin super soft with it’s exfoliating beads (its also fairly gentle and formulated for daily use). This mask doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight (which is a sign of dried out skin) but instead it feels clean. My skins condition does seem to have improved since I started using it giving me a smoother complexion both to the touch and in appearance. I feel like this mask spoils me and I love it! I recommend this mask to anyone who wants to spoil their face. Although it’s formulated for normal to dry skin to use 1-3 times a week lovelies with oily skin could use it once a week as a mini-facial.
