So...I love playing Yugioh and imagine my surprise when the game launched and my eyes were bombarded with the beauty that is the card “Meteonis Drytron” and their boss monster- “Drytron Meteonis Draconids“. I had never heard of the Drytrons before but came to know them intimately soon enough...

Anywho, against my better judgement I decided to model and then print this beautiful chonk-boy and in doing so created a hellscape in which I was consumed with all art and media regarding this bastard. 2D art it isn’t such a reliable reference point especially when artists can change large or minute details about a piece of work. The tail alone has different numbers of segments between the ritual card, ritual monster card, and concept art alone.

My apologies for the horrible print quality! We had some really cold nights here and a bunch of the prints detached from the bed and ended up causing the nozzle to explode and filled the print head with blobs of filament. We tried salvaging as much as we could but a few parts of the printer were still warped/borked.

Tried to do as much as I could with the information out there (cards, concept art, etc.) and took some artistic liberties when I couldn't find references.

***The stand used to keep the figure upright is, unfortunately, blocking the majesty of how chunky his bottom half is and the tail. But please believe me, he is a good chonk-boy!
