What we had here is a dividing wall that had bee rendered and waterproofed up to 1m but the dpc was either no installed or done years ago so the brickwork behind was wet. A plug socket had been installed after and patched up with unsuitable plaster and on the opposite side old plaster had been left on around that socket too. We installed a new dpc the cut out the contaminated plaster and used Dryzone’s fast setting dampproofing backing that was sent for us to review.
