There is a small giggle that echoes through the halls.
A hushed whisper. “Be quiet, the guards might hear us.”
“I-I'm trying to be quiet,” a glitchy voice murmurs, as they put a hand over their mouth to cover up their giggles. Ink's attention and interest is piqued from the quiet conversation.
“Oh, come on, don't try to do that. Let me feed you, damnit,” the first voice murmurs.
“Why do you find it so romantic?” The second voice asks. Ink follows the voices.
“Because- because I do!” The first voice whisper-shouts.
Ink comes upon an interesting view. Dream's doors to his bedroom are slightly creaked open, and Ink peeks inside. The view he finds is one he perhaps should have never found.
In there, scented candles are lit up - butterscotch and mint, the former of which is Dream's favorite scent. Dream and Error are on the bed, Dream halfway crawled up Error, as Dream feeds Error chocolates from a heart-shaped container.
Ink recognized it as the one he bought. It wasn't for anyone in particular, but instead Dream had told him to buy it without a given reason. Ink didn't care, all he cared was the money he was paid for doing it, but now he knew the reason.
“Okay, shh, open up,” Dream quiets Error's soft laughter, before grabbing one of the chocolates and softly putting it in Error's open mouth. Error softly chewed the chocolate before swallowing. “How the heck did you snag some mint?”
“I was very specific on what brand when asking Ink to buy one,” Dream replied, looking at Error with a lovestruck look… or, er, bedroom eyes look in his face. Ink had seen enough of this nauseating Valentine's Day crap, ready to leave but was unfortunate that the door creaked as he leaved, causing Dream to jump off the bed and rush to grab Ink.
Ink didn't fight when his boss grabbed him. “Ink, what the fuck,” Dream hissed, looking at him with a dark look in his eyes. Ink shrugged. “I heard voices, I checked it out.”
Dream growled, “You're not getting off the hook that easy,”
Ink rolled his eyes, “you pay me, I'm not telling anyone.”
Ink got off the hook that easy.
