Exclusion and similar concepts
alienation (the state or experience of being isolated from a group or an activity to which one should belong; disconnected from values, norms, practices, and social relations of community or society)
social exclusion (a state in which individuals are unable to participate fully in economic, social, political and cultural life, as well as the process leading to and sustaining such a state; encompasses not only economic deprivation but also the denial of basic rights and opportunities)
