fun fact: in my dsaf au, dave isn't born purple. he develops it as a side effect of henry's experiments.

after henry takes his heart away, OBVIOUSLY that would cause some problems with how his body gives oxygen to his bloodstream. thanks to that, dave develops cyanosis.

cyanosis is characterized by having a blueish-purplish tint to the skin, and it occurs in skin thanks to blood with low levels of oxygen.

this works in conjuction with how dave grows up to be a cryptid instead of being born as one
