Okay so actual question. Why do you think writers make new symbiotes if other writers are just going to have them killed off? Who thinks this is an okay way to keep continuity? I just hope Sleeper makes it through this event.
why does anyone make any new characters if they’re just going to be ignored or killed off. because they have hope or are at peace with their initial contribution being the only one.
why does anyone bring in characters just to kill them off? to leave The Mark, worthless but coveted, you KNOW who killed off your faves, you’ve HEARD of that writer now, the world is DIFFERENT because of them, they totally MATTER
sleeper might get killed literally but mostly i think they’ll get killed into a metaphor and plot device the way the symbiote was, representing All The Worst Things
everyone will be character assassinated if scorn and lee were any indication
bad ending: every symbiote but the venom symbiote will be killed out of some utterly unjustified desire to “clean up”, like remender was wanting to
neutral ending: most symbiotes including the venom symbiote will be killed so donny can continue to avoid trying to write it, freeing us all
true ending: every single symbiote reverts into its intended form and is a lifeless sword forevermore
